o Go to the Finder icon Dock

o Go to the ‘Download’ in download folder on the menu bar

o Now open the RemoveSymantecMacFiles folder

o Control –click RemoveSymantecMacFiles.command file

o Now hit the ‘Open Click’> Terminal (default)

o Note: You have login first on your Mac with Administrator account to successfully run this tool

o Click ‘Open’ to continue.

o Put your Administrator Password in ‘Terminal’ window

o Click ‘Return’

o For removing all Symantec files and folders, type =1

o Now, ‘Return’

o After removing all the Symantec files, go to the ‘Terminal’ window and type ‘y’ and restart your Mac

o Note: Before restarting save all your work

o Login Norton

o Go to the ‘Norton Set up’ window

o Download the ‘Norton antivirus’

o Hit the ‘Agree and Download’

o Now, save the file

o Open ‘Setup.zip’ file

o Double-click the Norton product installer

o ‘Agree’ and ‘Install’

o Put your Administrator password and then click to install

o Follow all the screen instructions

o After installation, click ‘Restart’
